Who we are

We’re David and Patricia, the husband-and-wife duo behind Itaa’s Street Kitchen — where love is the secret ingredient and Northen Mexican flavor is always on the menu.

Patricia grew up in Chihuahua, Mexico, spending countless hours in the kitchen with her abuela, Itaa, who not only taught her how to cook but showed her that food is about more than just filling plates — it’s about filling hearts and bringing people together. David, on the other hand, grew up eating pizza rolls and takeout. Naturally, I married up.

Together, we decided to chase a dream: to bring the bold flavors of northern Mexico to our home here in Central Texas. Patricia brings the recipes, traditions, and creativity (trust me, she wakes up with new ideas daily), while David keeps up with the dishes, taste-testing, and making sure every plate leaves the truck with the same warmth as it was made with.

Now, through Itaa’s Street Kitchen we’re blending her heritage with our Texas roots, serving montados, burritos, and street bites that carry the same love that once filled her abuela’s kitchen. Our goal is simple — when you stop by, we don’t just want you to eat; we want you to feel like part of our story.

Come, hungry. Come curious. Come share a meal with us.
